After some extensive research into hosting plans, I finally decided on Host Excellence (HE) for a client. It was cheap ($7.95), and allowed for wildcard redirects on subdomains for multi-site use in WordPress. My client wanted to use WordPress because it’s light, and wants everyone to be able to add posts. While working on a Joomla migration from one host to another for a client, I found two things that threw a stick into the spokes. One – the .htaccess file.
